Customer Review :
Barely functional : 7" inch Google Android Touchpad Tablet PC notebook Netbook Internet MID UMPC E-Book Reader
This product, (the M003) is without a doubt a lazy effort to throw some low-end components together to try and rip off people.
The world needs a good, light weight, Android 1.6 (it works just fine for most of what most people need this sort of thing for: email, web browsing, social media. movies, ebooks, etc.--my 2 year old HTC G1 works quite well for this with a too-small screen to read comfortably. This product tries to pretend to fill that niche.
THIS IS NOT USEFUL!
The product does not work, and it is a total waste of time and money. The touch screen is worthless, the response time is horrible, the Android market does NOT work and the 9 applications in the vendor's "market" are worthless. With a lot of effort you CAN download apps onto a SD card and load them that way, but since they perform so poorly on the platform, it is a sad waste of time. WiFi barely works within a few feet of the router. System locks, crashes after a few minutes use.
Worst of all, the US importer only offers a five (5) day warranty! Hmmm...didn't quite see that on Amazon's site. Funny how that happens.
The price seems to move down a lot now that people have purchased these and word is out.
Do not buy this. You will be disappointed, and it will give Android and Amazon a bad name.
